Help us
We really would like some more people to help as due to illness and people moving away, we are a fairly small group covering a rather large area! Please help if you can—it is not just gardening, many other skills are needed too.
Your help with any of the following would be much appreciated:
- In 2026 we will be taking part in the National Finals of Britain in Bloom as well as competing in South West in Bloom -
so we need new volunteers!
- Help at a work party
- Open your garden for our Open Gardens weekend …
- Help with vegetable growing
- Help with heavy work such as muck spreading.
- ‘Adopt a Street’ Gutters need to be kept weed free,
litter to be cleared from street and graffiti to be reported.
- If you would like to spruce up an untidy or unwanted patch of ground where you live and have permission of the landowner, then we could help with planting schemes and advice.
- Sponsor a display or buy a planter details ....
- Enter your or a neighbour’s garden in the
Garden Awards scheme.
